FROM LINE TO FUNCTION
The YU collection was designed to capture the Scandinavian design approach and the poetry of Japanese design. Through their function, they capture our life experiences, and make them evolve through time. A dialogue is established between the object and the user, which is marked by the imprints left in the material. The pure and discreet forms of the support are the most sober possible in order to give all the place to the emotions which one entrusts to him.
YU represents the YOU, which echoes the sensitivity of each user to its function. The collection encompasses simple forms, materials and production processes. Made from aluminum and Canadian maple wood from sustainable forests, each object uses local and sustainable resources and manufacturing.
Values
The YU bookcase reflects the constructivist simplicity found throughout the collection. It offers five shelves in its original form. It is also available in different compositions that can be customized upon request. A finish based on organic vegetable oil has been applied by hand, offering an exceptional quality of finish.
